The French gaming site, WINAMAX, engaged TBWA\Paris to create a stylish 70-second commercial that emphasizes the end goal is winning in a quirky and eye-catching way. The new campaign, called “The Ball of Yarn” was directed by SOLAB PICTURES’s Romain Chassaing.
The film is set in a fictional city where the residents wear futuristic cat masks. An ordinary day is suddenly interrupted by a giant red ball of wool rolling past – and everyone is frantically racing after it to see who can catch it first. The storyboards clearly communicate the brand message – “winning is everything” without any language. ๐ฑ ๐งถ
We think this movie ad compels viewers to finish it whilst subtly communicating the brand message. ๐
