Design inspiration can come from anywhere. And it is no different for fashion design 💭

New York designer, Nik Bentel is passionate about design that serves a function, but his main goal is to tell a story. His “Pasta Bag”, designed as the reflection of the mundanity of lockdown, went viral last year.

In 2022, he turned his attention to another everyday item, the shipping box. With the aim to create something exciting out of the mundane, he created the “Shipping Box Bag”. 📦

Made of vegan leather, the Shipping Box Bag features magnetic openings on four sides. It opens just like a standard cardboard box! The white strap humorously says “Fragile: Handle with care”.

The package is covered with stickers that are commonly found on couriers. Customers can choose from bags with pre-printed UV stickers, or purchase plain bags with vinyl stickers for customization.

We love how Bentel takes inspiration from everyday items and creates something amazing. 💚
