357 years after Vermeer completed his masterpiece “Girl with a Pearl Earring”, Janine Strong used a fitness app to replicate the masterpiece on the streets of Brooklyn, New York, using a real-time satellite view of the bicycle route.

Strong sketched this “GPS art” using a digital mapping method created by athletes’ satellite tracking routes. It is viral on Strava and is often called ” Strava Art”. 🏃‍♀️🛰️
